NOW ENROLLING FOR 2012/2013

Preschool

Our Program is biblically based and will teach Christian faith and values. All children are eligible regardless of race, creed or national origin, as long as this school can meet the needs of the child.

Your child’s day will include:

Prayer, Bible Stories, music, large and small muscle activities, science, readiness skills, art and center time.

Our program will serve children, who by September 1st, are at least 3 years old and toilet trained

These programs meet September through May. Applications available in the church office.


Class Sizes

    12 Children max                            with 2 teachers

Fees

$45 Registration Fee (nonrefundable)
$70 per month/ 2 day session
$95 per month/ 3 day session

Schedule

Mon/Wed/Fri Sessions for 4 yr olds
9:15 to 11:45am                     


Tues/Thursday Session
for 3 yr olds
9:15 to 11:45am

Activities

KDO (Kids Day Out)   Cindy Spicer - Director

  • Wednesday 
  • Children who on September 1st, are between  18 and 35 months.  (potty training not required.)
  • 9:00am to 1:00pm
  • $25 Registration
  • $15 per day/avg $55 per month
  • Class size of 10 children with two teachers
  • Weekly Bible Story, art, music, gym or outside time and varied classroom activities
  • Bring sack lunch and change of clothes and diapers if needed.

Teaching Staff: Our work is Child's play

Cindy Spicer - Preschool director/teacher/KDO director - "I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and have taught preschool and toddler classes for 22 years. I love helping children learn and grow. It's great to see their excitement as they grapple with new ideas and master new skills".

Cindy Tepe - Preschool teacher - Voted 2005 Director of the Year by the Wichita Early Childhood Directors' Organization - "I've taught Christian Preschool for 28 years. I have the greatest job in the world - where else can you play, eat snack, and get hugs all day"! 

Jan Larrabee – Preschool Assistant Teacher – “I am a grandmother of 3 children, ages, 16, 16 and 10.  I have helped homeschool the ones in Colorado and tutored students at Linwood Elementary.”  Jan often makes friends with her youngest neighbors and has them knocking on her door to see if she can play.

Glenda Hawthorne – Kids’ Day Out Assistant Teacher – “I am a mother or 3 girls and grandmother of 2 girls and a boy.  I have been a member of Covenant for over 20 years and have taught Sunday School for the preschoolers.  I joined Kids’ Day Out to have a connection with the little ones, because I believe that anytime you see a little one laugh or smile, you remember that there is for this world, no matter what the headlines say.”
