Guides & Teachers Needed
Can you picture yourself doing an exciting job during the Sunday School Hour? Would you like to invest some time to fulfill our baptismal vows to our children? We need Guides and Teachers for the upcoming Fall semester.
The Guide is an important part of our Rotation Model of teaching. With classrooms and Teachers changing so that children learn the Bible in excitingly different ways, the one constant that the children come to know and love is the Guide. A longer commitment is necessary but no preparation time is involved.
Teachers only commit for a month at a time and have a week off during the month. Teachers prepare ahead for classes but there are a variety of interesting subjects and material available.
The rewards you will receive in the form of smiles and sparkles in eyes are priceless. Call Joan at the Church to volunteer.
Sanctuary Angels Needed
Did you know that our church saves hundreds of dollars a month by having the Church Sanctuary straightened by volunteers? We are running a little short of them because of health and schedule issues right now. Get your friends to volunteer with you--the more volunteers the less often you have to do it. If you have a couple of hours in the first part of the week you could devote to this worthy cause, call the office.
