Music

 

 

Covenant has many varieties of music through which to worship God and we give thanks for those who help us in making a joyful sound to God.

 

The Chancel Choir sings at the 11 o’clock service. Sue Nispel is the director and the rehearsal time is Wednesday at 7:00 pm.

 

The Morning Praise Team plays at the first and third Sunday of each month at

8:30 am directed by Andy Gilstrap. They practice on the Wednesdays at 8:00 pm before performance Sundays.

 

Rainbow Bells is a group of older elementary and junior high students who play chimes at the fourth Sunday of the month at the 8:30 service. The Bells are directed by Caroline Gilstrap and practices at 5:45 pm each Wednesday.

 

Rainbow Choir is a group of elementary youth who sing at the second Sunday of the month at the 8:30 am service. The choir is being directed by Pastor Rob and we are looking for a children choir director. They practice at 5:45 pm on every Wednesday.

 

The Contemporary Worship Praise Team plays at the 7:00 pm Praise Service on the second Sunday of the month. The Contemporary Worship team is lead by Andy Gilstrap and Ron Daray. Joe Wiseman is the worship leader.

 

The Covenant Ensemble is a wind, brass, string ensemble that plays on the 5^th Sunday of the month at the 8:30 am and 11:00 am worship. Laura Vollen directs the ensemble group and they practice on the 4^th Wednesday of each month at 8:00 pm.

 

The Taize Music Team includes Caroline Gilstrap on the piano and Debbie Farrell on the flute. They play at the Taize Worship Service at 7:00 pm on the fourth Sunday of the month.
